Our Conquests

 

1. Our First Trip to Ladakh was in 1999 with "Chandigarh Advancer" club. The ride was just up to Khardung La. The amazing thing about this trip was that our group had 102 bikes, the highest till date to ride to the "World's highest motorable pass". This earned us a spot in the Limca Book of Records.

2. In 2001, along with 3 other riders we covered the lake circuit (Tso Moriri, Pangog Tso, Tso Kar), Nubra Valley (the desert) and Zanskar. That was a whooping 3400km in 16 days.

3. In July 2001, we organized and executed a trip with 45 riders to Pangong Tso, trip meter read 2200km.

4. In 2002, we rode with the "Road Survivors" Club till Nubra Valley. 2300km in 10 days

5. In 2002 and 2003, we rode to Goa for Rider mania.

5. In 2004, we rode from Chandigarh to Goa for Rider mania again.

6. In 2004, we organized a ride with 24 bikers from a club and did the Padum (Zanskar).

7. in 2005, we organized a ride to the Lahaul-Spiti valley with a few riders. Total distance clocked = 1800km.

8. In 2006, we organized a ride to cover the Lake Circuit with 20 riders. We covered 2800 km in 16 days . Route - Chandigarh -> Manali –> Keylong –> Pang –> Tso kar –> Tso Moriri  –> Pangong Tso –> Leh.

9. In January 2007, Mat and his wife did an all india solo ride from Chadigarh all the way to Kanyakumari. 9200km in 31 days. Whew!!!

10. In 2007, we did a trip to visit Leh and Srinagar via Daha Hanu. 2500km n 15 days.

11. In Sep 2007, we along with some of our club members visited Chandertal and also toured the Lahaul-Spiti valley and Leh.1800km in 10 days

12. And recently in June 2008, we organized a ride for a group of 6 riders (4 riders and 2 pillions) 3600 km in 15 days to Nubra Valley.
